Night Writing
Everyone says that mornings are the time to make it happen, but I’m here to tell you, my mornings are for coffee, and news, and needless stressing about how I’m going to make the day work with the kids, the food, the chores, the things.
So let me give you permission to do some night writing.
When your brain is tired, and you’ve accomplished some (but not all, never all) of what you needed to, and you can collapse into bed and think, “wow, today deserves a round of applause”.
Night’s the time to pull out your notebook and let your brain do what it’s meant to do, what it’s wanted to do all day. Let go of the heavy nothingness and make room for wonder and joy.
