Betty, by Tiffany McDaniel

This beautiful book is my favorite of 2024. You know that feeling when you are reading a book and you love the main character so much you want to protect her as though she were your own child? That’s how Betty is for me. Knowing that she was based off the author’s actual mother only makes her more endearing.

Such a special book from an enormously talented author.
